I have been following along with the rest of the world on Kim Kardashian's week long wedding celebration. I have been so inspired by each and every one of the sisters fashion in Paris that I decided to do a look for less. Khloe Kardashian is always on point and in my opinion she killed it in this 2 piece striped number by Nadia Tarr. Here is a break down on what her look cost and what my look cost.

Perfect Summer Skirt

I have searched high and low for the perfect white summer skirt and I have finally found it!! I am truly the happiest girl in the world because I have this unhealthy obsession with white clothing and I finally found the missing piece to my perfect summer wardrobe. I have white T's, white heels, a white skort, white jeans, a white purse and now a white skirt!! Yay! The best part about this skirt is this weekend there is a Memorial day sale and it's 40% off  which makes it only $36.00. I love how this skirt flares out which highlights your curves even if your lacking in that department like I am (small booty club). What's your MUST HAVE piece for summer??

City Chic

I have been following Kristina Bazan from Kayture for a year now and I am so inspired by her classy style. Thanks to her I decided to try something new by wearing some great fitting white dress pants with a navy blue vest I found in my closet. I think fashion is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things because life is too short to wear boring and predictable clothing! I'm really digging a bold lip with with this look because it gives it a little pop.

BTW we are going through another heat wave in California and I'm loving every minute of it because I need to work on my tan for my engagement shoot in 3 weeks!! It's been so tough to figure out what I want to wear for this shoot since these pictures will be around for a very long time. We will be doing one casual look at the beach and one dressed up look somewhere else (I haven't decided on that either). I hope I make the right choice!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!! Splurge vs. Save

I was asked to do a post dedicated to items I have purchased this year that are inspired by expensive pieces but for 1/10 the price or less. I eagerly accepted the challenge given to me by Credit Card Insider (www.creditcardinsider.com) because I am a girl on a budget but I don't want that to prevent me from looking like a million bucks. I am always on the look out for pieces that resemble high end items but must be in my teeny tiny budget (just kidding, but you get my drift).

I saw these gorgeous lace pumps on some of my favorite fashion bloggers but I knew I couldn't afford the price tag of the Gianvito Rossi pumps. I started my search for the right lace pump that didn't look cheap or cheese and then I stumbled upon Marlee, which is Shoemints version of a lace pump. I found the bag of my dreams thanks to my boss who introduced me to the Vanilla London website. I was immediately drawn to all the Bertie bags because they closely resemble the Hermes Birkin bag which is the most coveted bag in the world. I love that my Bertie is 100% leather which means it's going to last me a long time and it's light for the girl who loves to carry a bunch of nonsense in her purse! Every time I wear this bag I get so many compliments and to top it all off it was a gift! I am one lucky gal with a great boss!!

The first time I saw these beautiful heels was on my girl RiRi (Rihanna) and I fell deeply and madly in love with them. They are so unique but in a good way and the color is perfect for spring and summer outfits. Shoedazzle sent me an email of there latest heels and these babies were on it for such an amazing price I couldn't say no! I haven't worn them yet but when I do I am sure they will be show stoppers!!

Kardashian Kollection Pencil Skirt

I strongly believe this year has been the year of the pencil skirt and I'm eating it right up!! I must own at least twenty skirts. I don't recommend excessively buying trendy things like I did but I feel like pencil skirts are timeless and classic. I will definitely be wearing them long after the trend is over. I was immediately drawn to this chevron print pencil skirt from the Kardashian Kollection at Sears. I love how thick the fabric is because it conceals little imperfections we might have. You can never go wrong with black and white and a pop of red like I decided to add to this look with some sexy red lips and my favorite hermes inspired bag. I wanted to tie the whole look together with a lacey pointy pump I bought last week.I hope you enjoy the look as much as I loved wearing it!!

Beachy Red

I wanted to share with everyone one of my secret calming places I escape to from time to time. It's a walking path along the Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, California. Every time I come here I feel like I'm in another country like Cabo San Lucas. It's a great escape when your looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Since we've been having such great weather I wanted to wear my beautiful off the shoulder red dress from Wild Souls. It's such an eye catching comfy dress and perfect for the summer. I received so many compliments which solidified what a good choice I made!! I was worried of how the turquoise lining would look in person but it worked really well with the red and looked great in person! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and happy mothers day to all the amazing mothers out there!!
