I am so behind on posts because I was working very hard towards a promotion at work that I finally received yesterday!! I am very happy and ready to take on more responsibility! Shirley in charge! LOL.

I wore this outfit two weekends ago and let me just tell you those heels & that bag were the star of the show. A lot of people would walk by and stare at my heels, I don't know if they loved them or they thought I was absolutely crazy but I didn't care because I love them. Remember, always dress for yourself because you will never be able to please the world! I've worn that fringe bag on repeat for the last 3 weeks because its black and it goes with everything I wear. I love the details on this bag like the long shoulder strap and the overload of fringe everywhere. It's definitely one of my favorite go to bags for everyday wear. I kept the rest of the outfit very simple with an over sized jean top from Joe Fresh, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers at JCPenney along with MNG by Mango. The jeggings I'm wearing are from Levis which is carried at JCPenney too. All this great stuff under one roof! I am a Levis girl for life!! 

I took a few snap shots of my visit to the most amazing dessert location in LA, Bottega Louise!! If your ever in town or your in town and you've never been there you must go and try the fresh macaroons and the beignets filled with nutella. Ahhhhh they just make my mouth water and my heart melt!! I'm a sweets girl all the way! If I don't post anything before the holidays, Happy thanksgiving!! XOXO

Wrap, Scarf & Blanket

I've always wanted to rock a wrap/cape/blanket but I couldn't afford the super expensive burberry monogrammed cape so I opted for a more wallet friendly one from JCPenney. As soon as I saw this gray plaid cape I fell in love because it has a traditional burberry flair to it for such a great price. The boots are definitely on repeat this season because they are so chic and comfy... can you believe they are from Forever 21!?!? Definitely a great buy!! I needed to add a pop of red to this outfit so I busted out my beautiful Bertie bag which is very much inspired by the Hermes bag. I have learned through my fashion evolution that I need to invest more in my handbags and make sure they are all leather so they last me for a very long time!! I would recommend investing a good amount of money on your handbags and shoes. What part of your closet do you prefer to invest in the most?? Let me know in the comments below.

I've had such a tumultuous week and thats putting it mildly. Have you ever been caught in the middle of an argument that was never yours to begin with? Well, thats what my week has consisted of, among other things. Now that the week is coming to an end things seem to be looking up. I am so thankful to have a strong wonderful man by my side who constantly keeps me sane while I'm dealing with insane and unreasonable people. This week has taught me to be thankful for your health and the amazing people around you who keep you strong and safe. 

I've been very confused with the LA weather because one minute its so nice and warm and the next minute it's cloudy and cold. I decided to wear my new favorite trench coat from Windsor which is light and airy but made from good quality fabric and true to size. It's a must have piece to own especially if you live in LA where the weather is never consistent. I'm notorious for my all white outfits because white is just so clean and makes me look tanner than I actually am. I hope everyone's had a great week.

Ivory Floral Winter Skirt

Hello Dolls!! I have been super busy lately and haven't had much time to shoot, but here is a piece I purchased a few weeks ago from Windsor Store I absolutely love! I am obsessed with how different and unique this floral midi skirt is for only $37.00! Another THF score!! I paired it with the black one shoulder dress I wore around two weeks ago from Express (here). I thought this would serve as a perfect segue into how to make an old dress new again. I know a lot of women buy a dress and wear it once because they don't want to be that girl who wears the same dress every time she goes out. So, whats the point of spending a few hundred dollars on a dress you will wear one night and then shove it in the back of your closet to never see the light of day again??? It's a waste of money if you ask me!  Since I loved the top half of the black dress from Express I decided I would showcase it in a new outfit. I could pair this dress with any of my long midi skirts for a new and exciting outfit. I know this black dress isn't that old but it went perfectly with my new midi. The bottom half of the black dress is underneath the mesh overlay which made it longer. For anyone who is looking to purchase this skirt I definitely recommend wearing some black tight biker shorts underneath because the lining is just too short and you don't want to show anything thats not meant to be shown.
